The undisputed superstar of the opening week of CHI Pärnu 2024 was without a doubt Sandra Sysojeva. The highlight of the program was the World Cup leg for dressage riders. The representative of Poland won both CDI-W and CDI1* classes.
Seven athletes took part in the musical freestyle program which gave them valuable World Cup points. Among them, Dina Ellermann, who after a year’s of maternity leave started the World Cup series again with her well known Olympic horse Donna Anna. Although Dina was second in Saturday’s Grand Prix program after Sysojeva and Maxima Bella, she had to settle for the fourth place on Sundays main class, which in the final result gave her points for the third place in the World Cup. Dina and Donna Anna’s result was 69.595%.
Sysojeva and Maxima Bella were way ahead of other participants winning the class with a result of 77.335%, while the second place was taken by the talented Finnish rider Ville Vaurio and Dante NL, with a result of 70.800% and the third place by Dalia Katinaite-Pranskiviciene (LTU) and Amica with a result of 70.195%.
As mentioned above, Sandra Sysojeva was also unbeatable at the CDI1* level, taking the victory on Found Boy with the score of 75.742%. The result for the second place was 67.342%, ridden by the young talented Estonian rider Maribel Tuiken on Jazz Hit. The third place went to Estonia aswell, when 65.992% result was ridden by Tiina Kuusmann on Ivanhoe.
